Beverage centre The GE beverage centre makes entertaining a breeze. "We have cold drinks at the ready without taking up valuable fridge space," says Christine, who loves entertaining. "I'm glad my husband insisted on getting it. Now that we have it I don't know how we managed without!"

Classic white White dishes are a classic bistro favourite. They're available at a wide variety of price points, are easy to mix and match, and are a great backdrop for presenting food.
Kitchen island Leather bar stools can cost upwards of $300 each. Christine got a similar look that's functional and easy to clean for less than $100.
Wall oven A double wall oven is embedded in IKEA cabinets. "IKEA products are so affordable, using them was a no-brainer," says Christine, who balanced clean-lined cabinetry with strong patterns and accent pieces with lots of character.
