The floor space of the coffee shop is 430 square meters and it is located on the spot of the underground vault of a historic bank. This coffee house is called "The laboratory", as it is the place where the company is going to test innovative methods of brewing coffee to spread the successful ones all over Europe. There is also going to be a bakery to offer customers fresh croissants every morning and cookies at lunch. 35 artists worked on the design and gave the room different elements of local style.

Starbucks coffee shop in Amsterdam styled as a bank
StarbucksCoffee have been opening unusual coffee shops all over the world recently. The new shop in Amsterdam is a proof of that - it is designed to look like a bank. Its opening is planned for March 8. Similar changes of habitual image have reached Seattle, New York, London and Paris.
